I remember registration time at Sonoma State University. I’m sure it was the same at most other schools. I would wait by my computer hoping I had the fastest internet connection and that my computer was working at its highest potential. I would have all the class numbers in hand and my motor program for entering each number was refined and ready to go when the clock turned to at the hour or the at the half hour. Hundreds of students hunting for 30 seats in some sort of science class. Man was that stressful.
I’m glad thats over. Now the numbers are given to me and I could register any time, up until 2 weeks after class starts. No waiting, no motor program for number typing.
The classes i’m taking this semester is exciting. It is the most applied physical therapy curriculum of the program. I’ve dreamed to get take these classes.
The big three are: Spinal dysfunction (Othopaedic Physical therapy II), Cardiopulmonary Assessment, Neurological Physical Therapy II.
The other classes are for clinicals, education and business.
I have 2 more tests and I’ll be done for the semester. The only real vacation of the year because we’ll be in our clinicals all summer. This winter break is going to be the most rewarding break I’ve had in a long time. It will feel good too because everyone is coming home from the holidays.
Just 2 more days and 1 more night of studying at Starfleet academy.

I love being by the water. Who doesn’t? All of my favorite moments (with the exception of a few others) have been by the water, or better yet, the ocean. In 2005 my family and I went on a family vacation to Maui Hawaii. It was awesome. Bobby and I were underclassmen in college and Leon was in Highschool. We all had big hair then and our family was always mistaken as local.

Our family had a blast there. Its been 6 years before our family went on another get away to just enjoy our company. We recently went to Monterey Bay. I was the most excited to visit the aquarium and boy it was awesome. I saw otters, a sea turtle, kelp that was 4 stories tall and schools of fish. We went as a family and I loved it. Bobby and I are far away and It’s great how our family was blessed with an opportunity to relax together and just enjoy being around each other. But we can’t drive around together in the same car, in our family there is 5 navigators and 5 drivers. There is only 5 of us.
We went for lunch in this really nice restaurant on the wharf where there are several really nice restaurants. I asked my mom if she wanted the seafood platter and she said “it was too expensive.” I didn’t get it. When i’m done with grad school and working, nothing will be too expensive while on vacation with my family. My parents deserve the best. My dad- the king, My mom- the queen. This vacation was a definite beautiful surprise and I can’t wait till we have another one.
It’ll be by the water.
